DRYVIEW DVE Film provides excellent diagnostic visualization of fine detail, sharp image rendition and a cool image tone. DRYVIEW DVE Film is infrared-sensitive and is used in the CARESTREAM DRYVIEW Laser Imaging Systems. DRYVIEW DVE Film provides the superior image capture capabilities radiology professionals demand. Replace an empty cartridge or switch to a new film size in 3 easy steps. 1. Ensure the pause symbol is off, open door and remove old film cartridge 2. Slide the new film cartridge into place 3. Close door and check screen to confirm status.

Five film sizes for a range of imagers and general radiology applications. Choose from five film sizes on 7-mil polyester base to suit your DRYVIEW Laser Imager and imaging application: • 14 x 17 in. (35 x 43 cm.) • 14 x 14 in. (35 x 35 cm.) • 11 x 14 in. (28 x 35 cm.) • 10 x 12 in. (25 x 30 cm.) • 8 x 10 in. (20 x 25 cm.) *Availability of film types and sizes is country dependent. For mammography applications, specialized DRYVIEW DVM+ Mammography Laser Imaging Film is available which provides higher maximum density and wider dynamic range.
System-matched to boost productivity • DRYVIEW DVE Film is system-matched with DRYVIEW Laser Imagers to enable Automatic Image Quality Control (AIQC). • AIQC calibrates DRYVIEW Laser Imagers to optimize quality – and to help ensure that contrast and density meet preset user preferences. • This quality control is performed with no operator intervention, enhancing productivity.
Storage and handling of film • Just like other photographic films or datastorage materials, DRYVIEW DVE Film requires reasonable care during storage and handling. Store unexposed film at 4–24 °C (39–75 °F), at 30–50 % RH, and properly shielded from x-rays, gamma rays, or other penetrating radiation in order to achieve consistent results up to the expiration date indicated on the film package. • Tests under ISO (International Standards Organization) methods indicate processed DRYVIEW DVE Film is archivable for 100+ years when stored at ISO-recommended maximum temperature 16–27 °C (50–80 °F), and at 30–50 % RH far exceeding requirements for oncology and pediatric applications. Keep processed film in a cool, dry place that is properly shielded from penetrating radiation and chemistry fumes

Storage and handling for SD-Q and SD-S DRY FILM
Dry image recording film SD-Q and SD-S does not require a WET process. When storing and handling film, be sure to observe the following.
Storing and Handling unused film
After confirming that film is packied, store unused film, like ordinary film, in a cool, dark place (recommended temperature: SD-Q 10-23 °C  (50-73°F) / SD-S 10-24°C  (50-75°F) where it will not affected by radiation.
If film is stored in a place whre the temperature is more than 30°C  (86°F) for a long periods of time, the quality and expiry of the film may change.
Storing and Handling processed film (image)
As heat-processed-type film is susceptible to high temperature or strong light even after it's processed, it should be sored in a cool, dark place (a room protected from strong light).
If the film is stored at a temperature of 40°C  (104°F) or higher, this may cause density changes or discoloration even after short periods of storange. Avoid leaving the film in a car during the day or exposing it to direct sunlight.
